Bank Holiday Travel Made Easy in Galway

As the June Bank Holiday approaches, it’s important to stay informed about the changes in public transport schedules. Whether you’re planning a trip to the scenic Connemara or just commuting to work, knowing the bus schedules can make your travel hassle-free.

Operating Routes on Bank Holiday Monday

  • Route 431: From Claremorris to Carraroe, buses will follow the Sunday/Bank Holiday schedule, ensuring that passengers can still enjoy their holiday plans without interruption.

  • Route 432: Travelling from Carraroe to Clifden, this route will operate on its regular schedule, providing reliable service for those heading to the picturesque town of Clifden.

  • Route 438: For commuters and visitors between Tuam and Galway, the regular schedule remains in effect, keeping the vibrant city of Galway within easy reach.

  • Route 546: The Castlerea to Ballinasloe route will maintain its regular schedule, offering consistent travel options for residents and visitors alike.

  • Route 547: Portumna to Ballinasloe will also adhere to the Sunday/Bank Holiday schedule, accommodating those who wish to travel during the holiday.


Non-Operating Routes on Bank Holiday Monday

Please note that the following routes will not be in service on Bank Holiday Monday:

  • Route 548: Loughrea to Ballinasloe

  • Route 934: Gort to Loughrea


Please note, all other services will not be operating on Monday, 3rd June 2024!
